[3rd Year Animation Student]
Week 3 (7th October 2014)
Suddenly I find myself in week 3 of my 3rd year of uni. Im not 100% sure about how im feeling this week, though I must admit im feeling alot better about my time management this week.
In the past week I have writen the first draft of my script for my film after having a chat with mario last Tuesday he emailed me a script layout plan and that helped me a great deal.
I have somewhat of a irrational fears of writing and have done all i can in the past 3 years to avoid writing my own scripts. Simply because I genuinely fear that everything i write will be awful and terriable spelt (im currently using the google search bar for all my spelling needs whilst writing this post).
I started off by doing a mini plan. Just to help me strucher my script. Suprisingly, it helped.
I also downloaded a few scripts from big hollwood animation in hope to understand the whole process i little better.
Below you can find a PDF of the first draft of my script. Im happy with it, but i feel like it may be a little too long, but hey ho, its a first draft its going to be ripped apart anyway
I also started to experment with backgrounds this week, the image to the right of this text was created using some of the images i colleted from the week before.
This is a very early concept for the story tellers land. Currently Im really not happy with it at all but thankfully its still early days.
