Tom Sosnik is only 13-years-old, but he really knows who he is and what he stands up for.

After the death of transgender teen Leelah Alcorn, Sosnik decided to share his story via Youtube video:

“I am no longer Mia. I never really was,"  "And now I finally stand before you in my true and authentic gender identity as Tom. I stand before you as a thirteen-year-old boy."

"I really hope that you all will support my decision to embark on a harder route in life as the boy I truly am," Sosnik tells the crowd. "Any form of support I receive with much gratitude and I hope that everyone can really support me because you guys are like my second family. And if you support me, I'll feel like the luckiest boy in the world. Thank you for letting me share my story."

This video is beautiful and so articulate. Im so happy for Tom, with this video he has shown that no one should ever be afraid to be their authentic selves and those who have an issue with it need to enlighten themselves and realise that it doesn't matter whether you are lesbian bisexual gay or transgender we are still human beings just as you are their is no difference in our humanity.
