TEst shot 1

The time has come! Its time for me to acually start animating!

which is always a very daunting time as if you get it wrong and dont plan things correctly its very easy to waste a huge amount of time!

which i have been a  of in the past :(

BUT HOPFULLY NOT THIS TIME! - touch wood-

SO LETS BEGIN!

Nothing is ever as straight forward as you hope.

I didnt have the easyiest starts to this expermental process as it took me over a week to be able to hire a camera and SD card for the uni. Apparently they didnt have any in stock... but concidering its the summer period I'd be lying if i didnt say that i like a little messed about. BUT reguardless of all that i did get a camera!

I was very fortunate that my lecturer was kind enough to lend me her "merlin steadicam" which is a video stabilizing system designed to reduce shake and stabilize video on cameras and camcorders. Pretty cool right? it was, until it cam to settin it up. That part was really hard and took a good hour if not longer. BUT i did get it done and everything was looking awesome!

Until... The SD card i'd hired out was curruped and i was unable to get a new one withing my limmited hire time.

Fed up by this point i decided to return all the equipment and just record the quick example video of my phone, Which didnt turn out too bad!

 Corridor: test one

So to the right you'll see the orgianial test footage taken from my phone. I recorded this at chin level in hope to minick first person perspective. Which i think i achived quite well concidering.

I then took the footage imported it into photoshop and did a real basic quick nothing fancy added yet rotascope. Excuse the speed of the shot as i forgot to alter the frame rate.

orginally i didnt plan on filling the walls and just leaving them blank without tone and texture. After watching it back i quickly changed my mind as it just wasnt working and there was no clear visual focus point.

But apart frame issue from that im happy with the outcome.
