Animatic
This is the first draft of my animatic, poor quality voice-over until I record something proper but I'm happy with the so far. i think timing wise it could need tweeking and sound effects still need to be added.But all this taken into account i'm happy.

Orginally i wanted Cam to be the voice of the film, with it being his story i felt it was only right.
Thing is when it came to recording he seemed to loose everything and didnt perform the way we both thought he would... It's not awful! dont get me wrong i just feel as if its lost alot of it soul, weather that be because he was scard or something we both agreed it wasnt the job for him sadly.
I voiced the orginal animatic and when i showed it to other people for feedback it and it was received very well. So whilst we had the booth i went in and had a good at it.
Admittly its not the best i've ever recorded but as you can tell from the recording i was a little giddy and was enjoying the company around me.
I would like to re record myself soon before commiting to another voice.
Sarah was in the room with us and i had a sudden brain wave, the film is set when Cam is alot younger and way before he started horomone treatment which deepen his voice. Sarah being female would sound more like him back then that ether of us as men could. So i sent her in and made her do a reading too. I was shocked as to how well she did.
I feel as if she has a natual talent for it and after showing it to other it was also reiveved very well.
So im going to record her also and then decide what I'm going to do.
The second animatic. I've been using my animatic as both a story bored and animatic at the same time. Due to my film being an almost documentary like i've found it a lot easier working in this way because i listen to words and animate loosing allowing my more freedom.
Since my last animatic a lot has changed, scenes have been cut, the script has changed quite dramatically and its been decided that i'm going to be the one voicing the film. Its better but i still believe its too long, I've send the animatic to a hand full of people and everyone seems to agree that it could be shorted. My current problem is just finding what else can be cut.

Updates (voice recordings Nov 2016)
For the second animatic i went back into the recording studio. Both have been recorded in a different style. One acted, the other just narrated. Within my animatic i've taken snippets from both to try and create the best version i could. Once everything has been ok with my animatic i'm going to go in and record one more time for my finial film.

Updates (voice recordings June 2017)
In April of 2017 I decided to edit my script down to save time within the animation process. Once that script was complete i went back into the recording studio and recorded another 4 versions of myself (ruben) and 1 of Sarah reading the script to use in my finial cut.
