non-binary brew?!?

NO LABEL - THE WORLD’S FIRST NON–BINARY, TRANSGENDER BEER
'We may be taught to remember the 5th of November, but on Friday 6th we open our latest UK bar, in the entertainment playground of London - Soho. And today we are unveiling a brand new beer – capturing the spirit of Soho itself.
No Label is the world’s first ‘non-binary, postgender beer’ designed to reflect the diversity of the area and champion inclusivity. This 4.6% ABV Kölsch has been brewed with hops that have changed sex from female to male flowers prior to harvest. We have used these to emphasise that, just like humans, beer can be whatever the hell it wants to be, and proud of it.'
On firday the 6th November 2015 brew dog released a new beer, but this isnt your standard normal beer, this beer is the worlds first non- binary transgender beer. Madness I know!
BrewDog is a Scottish brewery in Ellon, Aberdeenshire, founded in 2007 by James Watt and Martin Dickie.
Seems a little too good to be true right? thats what i thought so i dug a little deeper and found some demonds in the cracks.

Skylar Kergil, is a 24-year-old trans guy from Boston.
Skylar is also a youtube transguy I've been following for a few years now. Ironicly Skylar uploaded a video around 10mins after i found out about No Label and saved me alot of extra reseach as he's already done it for me! Once again sky saves the day.
No lable is brewed with whole hop bines that have spontaneously changed from female to male, no label goes its own way. The base style, Kölsch, blurs the boundaries between lager and ale, drawing comparisons to “non-binary” individuals who class themselves as neither exclusively male nor female.
No Label balances a light, biscuity dryness from the malt base with delicate hints of fruity esters gifted by the fermentation. Finally, dry-hopping adds a layer of new world tropical & pine flavours that add a unique twist to this classic Kölsch style beer. Which i think is pretty god dam awesome! Even more so because all profits the sales of this beer will be donated to LGBTQI+ events organisers Queerest of the Queer.

Brew dog realised a fund raising campain in september 2015, with this campain came a very distastful ad titled #DontMakeUsDo which can be found just below this text.
This advert is increadbly distastful, making fun of transgender sex workers the homeless and many more.
Though i understand they did not intend to offend they way they did a patision was started to get brew dog to take down the ad and they never did. (click for source)
Two months later Brew dog have come out with this new no lable brew, could this be Brew dogs way of saying sorry? All the profits are going to charity after all. Since the announcement, BrewDog has faced backlash on Twitter, some claiming that they feel "mocked" by the announcement.

I still dont know what to make of this, and will be contining to see where this story goes. Im willing to give them a chace to redeam themself but as i said we'll see what happens from here.
